40th HBC ANNUAL MEMBERS' Exhibition
The 2012 40th HBC Anniversary Exhibition will open at the Green Library at Stanford in July, 2012. It will be a two-part show. As well as the usual display of current members’ work, there will be a retrospective of work done throughout the life of HBC. Some of these bindings will come from Stanford’s holdings, others will be loans from personal collections. Because it will be larger than usual, entries will be limited to one piece per binder. It will help us enormously if you return this Intent to Enter form by March 1st.
39th HBC ANNUAL MEMBERS' Exhibition
The exhibition traveled to three venues : The Book Club of California, Doyle Library and the Mechanics Institute Library.
38th HBC ANNUAL MEMBERS' Exhibition
The books were on display in 2010 at the San Francisco Public Library and then at the Doyle Library in Santa Rosa.
37th HBC ANNUAL MEMBERS' EXHIBITION
Opened September 10th, Thursday, at the Gleeson Library, University of San Francisco
36th HBC ANNUAL MEMBERS' EXHIBITION
The Hand Bookbinders of California hosted the 36th Annual Members’ Exhibition at The Book Club of California, San Francisco, from November 3, 2008 to January 5, 2009.
A second venue for the exhibition was in the Doyle Library in Santa Rosa, January 10 to February 28, 2009.
